 Finally back from a new year 'party' or rather, gathering with my cell friends ^^. It was fun. Lemme see... we played this real cool game called "Quoridor" or sth like that. REALLY NICE LAH! must see to know its wonders though it's like 60 bucks O.O. That game belongs to my assistant cell leader Jacqueline.
So they were playing like for most of the night. I played one and a half games (half since it wasn't completed hahas. Too late liao) Anyways, so i played one and a half games but saw like five games. Whoa, you really had to tax ur brain power. hahas.
Okays, before i forget, HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!!!!! Wishing everyone all the best this 2006! Whoa, still can't believe 2005 is GONE!!!! It's has been an eventful year especially since it is my O'levels year ^_____^. hahas.
Oh btw, yesterday was okays BESIDES the roller skating part. I have bruises now T.T... I feel really bad for saying i hate roller blading yesterday since i always prefer to remain positive since i don't want to affect the ppl's mood around me but i couldn't help it. My legs hurt a LOT! oh dots... It really is bruised T.T... I'm really sorry to melissa, szehwee, benjamin, huiling, James and Learn Khang for ruining the mood and not being sporting enough T____T... i really didn't want to but i just couldn't stand it...

But thanks Ben, Melissa, and Szwee for helping to make my way back to the rental shop ^^. Oh later we went to play arcade. hahas, i really wanted to shoot stuff so i asked peewee to play with me the jurassic park game so we went shooting and shooting but i die very early T.T... maybe my gun got problem. Szwee and Melissa were playing race cars hahas. On the other hand, the most of the rest of my class was playing DDR and Parapara. hahas. The China scholars were playing the parapara and at first, their hands were so stiff it was sooo funny. hahas. Okays, later me, peewee, mel, amanda, jacky, huiling and szwee left early. I wanted to go parkway, peewee and szwee followed me and the others went home.
So we went parkway's MPH to find my JONATHAN KELLERMAN books only to find one pathetic ONE!!!! Dots... bought that though. cost $23.52. hahas. so i gave the twenty dollars voucher and paid $3.50 so i'm left with almost nothing from the $10 my mum gave me in the morning. Plus the arcade made me used $2.00 i think and the blades rental is six bucks. hahas.
But strangely enough, despite my horrible experience with roller skates, i still feel i wanna try skating again one day. Dunno, maybe this time i can do it. hahas. since yesterday i didn't go with a positive heart. ^_____^
Okays, next is the CIA camp also known as Conviction in Action camp aka my church camp hahas. It was pretty cool. I was in Hebrews! Whoo hoo! ^____^ hahas. anyways, i met a new friend - Mui Yi from LET and another person called Agapera (real unique name!). We stuck together most of the time in camp ^______^. hahas.
So the first day came as a surprise when i found myself staring at a COUNTRY CLUB! OMigosh! So different from AFC camp when we were AWAY from civilisation. So we walked towards our "Chalets" as they so nicely put. But there were aircon in the gals bunk so it was pretty cool except we had ta sleep on the floor. But the floor was clean so ^______^....
Our service was also in a air conditioned Auditorium. So cool kays? Like totally NOT a camp? ^^. It was basically rest and relaxation and getting to know God more and more as well as to be CONVICTED to something thus the theme of our camp.
Another thing i wanna add is that our group was pretty united. Though some of them had left on the third and fourth days due to personal commitments like orientation and work. Sighs...
BUT, my favourite part of the camp was the NOW(Night of Worship) service and the NIGHTWALK!!!!!!! OH my gosh! You can never find a BETTER NIGHTWALK aniwhere ELSE! ^______^ It started with our journey to the abandoned army camp. I was nearly blind as i didn't wear my specs since they said we were gonna be blindfolded so it is better not to wear them. hahas, i could hardly distinguish the pebbled path from the grass. Oh fine, i couldn't distinguish them at all. So first was the solitude walk which was suppose to stimulate the walk through the valley of the shadows of death. It was rather uneventful. I walked with my leader due to my lack of vision hahas.
Some ppl in our grp took the wrong path but fortunately, they u-turned and managed to find us.
Oh and now comes the interesting part. We were now blindfolded and time to play FOLLOW THE LEADER! So i was the first of my group and i held on to Jeremy, the assistant leader of our grp. Btw, the leaders weren't blindfolded and hence, they were supposed to lead us safely back.
Hahas, so we continued walking on the pebbled path for a while until we reached a slope where we had to crawl down blind-folded. It was pretty okay for me though i slipped at the steeper side. But that was okay. The camp committee had warned us of mud and i thought that this was the mud they were talkin about. oh did i guessed it so so so wrong. hahas.
Later we were crossing the road. Imagine, u are driving at night happily keeping to urself when suddenly, u saw a bunch of kids walking across the road blind folded in chu-chu-train fashion. Hilarious isn't it? We were laughing all the way, speculating what the ppl in the car were thinking as we raced across the road. Jeremy kept saying that "Oh it's already red man so we gotta hurry up" hahas. I doubt it was true and that it was just to make us hurry.
Then we headed back to the campsite. It was funny since one of us mentioned we wanna eat mac and Jeremy said "Oh yes, there is a mac coming up. Can you smell the aroma of the food?" and we went DUNNNN~~~~ hahas.
Okays, now the dirty part. Since it rained earlier, there was mud everywhere and the nightwalk utilized it fully. So we walked in mud and apparent swamps when later i realize, there was a perfectly beautiful clean PEBBLED PATH JUST BESIDE WHERE WE WERE WALKING hahas. Oh and there were real frogs too but we thought they were lying where they said we were entering the "Land of the Frogs" or sth along that line.
Later we had FLOUR and WATER poured over us. I found out one of the culprits was Wallus, a funny, out-going guy in our grp though he wasn't around much ^^ Oh btw, what do FLOUR and WATER make? Dough! Hahas, so for a moment, me and Peiwen (the person behind me- yups, peewee, i met another peiwen called Then Pei Wen. Interesting name too rites? hahas) thought it was maggi mee. hahas. so funni. but it really smelled like ah! Oh and we had to walk thru mud, wade through muddy water (Which we didn't know was muddy until later and i splashed peiwen with it) and crawl commando style on HARD PEBBLES. i had red bruises on my elbows later but it was gone by the next day. OH and there was this see saw thingy which we didn't know and suddenly, we went DOWN and we screamed. hahas.
Finally we had our confidence fall. It was really a thriling experience, like falilng thru air and then i was caught. I'm so glad i falled correctly since some of them dun lean back completely but rather, they go to a sitting position and fall so the people who are catching and are nearest to the person falling takes the brunt of the person's weight ^^;; Oh and remember. We did this ALL BLIND FOLDED. Finally, we were allowed to take off our blind fold and remember the dough? hahas. at first i thought it was toothpaste ^^;;
We finished our walk at 4am. I thought it was like only 3 plus am. And had to bath. I was drench in muddy water with leaves and soil all over my track paths and stuff. hahas. My sports Shoes were completely soaked as well. But i don't mind the dirtyness since the walk was sooo cool! yups!
Another impactful experience was the NOW worship as mentioned before. Then, i just felt the presence of God with me and me and my cell started to pray for each other, each speaking in tongues. The service was sooo overwhelming that no words can fully describe for what we really felt. Nothing would give it enough credit. *___*
SO now our whole cell minus a few have the gift of tongues ^____^. And i can tell you the feeling is wonderful. As youGspeak, you can feel God so much differently then when u don't have them. Sometimes, God's presence becomes so overwhelming that our normal earthly speech can no longer convey our innermost praises onto him. HUrray for God! Three cheers for JESUS CHRIST! SON OF THE LIVING GOD!!! AMEN!
